Álvaro José Caviedes
(Born in 1994 in Cali, Colombia) Director of photography and audiovisual producer based in the United States.
A graduate in Film and Television from UTADEO (Bogotá, 2017), his career focuses on film production, documentary filmmaking, advertising campaigns, and the development of artistic projects. Among his most notable works are “La Marqueza,” “La Europa,” and “Los Sueños Viajan Con El Viento” (Sheffield Doc/Fest 2024). He has received cinematography and photography awards, including Best Cinematography for “LIEBRES” (FICCI – Laberinto Fest, 2024) and the “El Centro: Un Paisaje Ruderal” Photography Award for his series “Espejismos sobre Entramados,” awarded by the Gilberto Alzate Foundation (2023). In 2022, he founded La Ventanart, an independent studio and gallery dedicated to film production, cultural storytelling, and the promotion of emerging artists and collectives. Its mission is to collaborate with brands, organizations, and artists to create projects that connect art, storytelling, and social impact.

Álvaro José Caviedes Delgado (Cali, 1994) is an artist and film producer. His recent work explores narratives about family, migration, and personal transformation. He has directed and collaborated on films, photographic series, and artistic projects in Colombia and the United States, weaving stories that dissolve borders.

Through film, image and music, it seeks to preserve and share stories that inspire, challenge and redefine our vision of the present, propelling us to action towards the future and connecting art with life.
