 LIGHT INTUITION

 Photography Collection by

“Light Intuition”, originally titled “Alquimia Interior”, takes its name from the ancient practice of alchemy, a discipline that intertwined science, philosophy, and spirituality with the purpose of transforming matter into consciousness.

This body of work is situated within that symbolic tradition, understanding the photographic image as a process of transmutation, where the sensible and the invisible meet to reveal an inner experience.

Trough these images, the work constructs a narrative about the recognition of the human in relation to elemental forces and nature as the originating matrix.

Light, the body, and the territory dialogue as manifestations of a single vital principle. In this journey, the contemplation of the natural world does not function as evasion but as a mirror that allows the sacred to be rediscovered in intimate experience.

The project is articulated from an understanding of no separation. It blurs the lines of gender, intertwines nature and humanity itself, and dissolves the divide between matter and spirit.

Light Intuition proposes an integrative gaze where duality dissolves and perception opens to an expanded notion of belonging and connection.

The work invites one to assume oneself as an elemental child of the Earth, to exhale smallness in the face of its immensity, to embrace vulnerability and surrender to the support that the mother offers. In this context, nudity presents itself as a gesture of sublimation to being, an act of surrender and celebration that reminds us of freedom and enlivens the pulse of our essence.

Thus, this series manifests as a process of return and revelation. Through the image, the work suggests that what is sought outside already dwells deep within. Alchemy does not occur only in the photographed matter, but in the divine light that is recognized reflected in it, in the elevation of aura and mind, in the consummation of the skin, understanding that all transformation begins with an act of revolution and consciousness.

I tell stories through light, where instinct, impression, and presence converge.

For me, photography is an emotional and spiritual quest, an alchemical craft that inscribes light onto silver halides, allowing what was once felt to reappear even after it has vanished. A vestige of existence, a quiet devotion to what remains unseen yet alive. Light remembers. It traces a path. Through multiple exposures, the pulse of time overlaps and dissolves, transforming each image into a ritual of recognition and surrender.

My work emerges from audacity, chaos, and fortuity. I layer elements, patterns, bodies, and landscapes until they merge into a single form, not to reveal, but to become. I am drawn to spaces where memory turns fluid and emotion becomes matter.

Beyond portraying the invisible, I seek to capture the aura of an instant, the worldview contained within a single breath of nature, the echo of a territory suspended between the earthly and the eternal.

I believe in light as a living language, one that speaks through silence and mysticism. Rather than pursuing perfection, I embrace uncertainty as a form of truth. In this way, each image becomes both wound and healing, a portal through which time folds and spirit shapes its silhouettes.

These visual amulets are born from my journal, from travels throughout Colombia, from research, from films, from love letters and from moments shared with friends, artists, and loved ones, narratives deeply rooted in poetry and infinite self-recognition. They are not the result of a single vision, but reflections of a shared heartbeat, guided by a simple truth: the gaze speaks, and its language is the heart.
